Girls weekend in the Windy City

Windy it was and awesome it was too. We took off Friday headed west toward Des Moines and after a near death experience we were turned around and on our way to Chicago (maybe a bit of an exaggeration but thanks for a hilarious start to our trip Mom).

We crashed at a beautiful condo on DeWitt place...weird, eh?

We walked all day long with Michigan Ave. getting most of the action.

And later we waited in the longest line in the history of mankind so that we could stand on glass 101 stories above the ground. It was awesome! If you ever go to Willis Tower (aka Sears tower) I highly recommend getting fast pass tickets online. But check out this view!

I'm waiting on the picture to arrive of us 4 girls standing on glass 1353 feet in the air!  Awesome.

Perhaps the best part of the trip was the martini bread.  What the...?

It was an awesome trip with the girls.  I hope we make it a yearly event!
